Virtual Learning Extended Graphic

ALL ISD CLASSROOMS & EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS WILL BE CONDUCTED

VIRTUALLY THROUGH JANUARY 10, 2021

December 3, 2020

Dear Families and Community,

Covid-19 has continued to impact us daily.  We have contemplated and carefully weighed the options.  We know that virtual learning is not ideal, but we also see great value in protecting the health of our students and staff.  Therefore, we have made the decision to continue learning through use of a virtual setting for all ISD Classrooms and the Early Childhood programming through Sunday, January 10, 2021.  At this time we are scheduling classes to resume to in-person learning on Monday, January 11, 2021.   Please contact myself or Kara Carwell for more information.  Kara can be reached at kara.carwell@hillsdale-isd.org or 616.634.1267.

The following programs are all virtual:

K-3 ASD Classroom at Hillsdale Prep

K-12 EI Program at Waldron

K-12 MoCI Program (K-8 at Hillsdale Prep and 9-12 at Hillsdale Community)

Greenfield School: Young Adult Program and Severely Multiply Impaired Classroom

Early Childhood Home Based Services

The following services are still being provided in-person:

ISD educational services provided to any local schools that are operating in person (any district that is operating a virtual model is receiving these services virtually)

Drop-in Service (Multiple Locations Available) (Birth-26)

Mobile Therapy Bus (Birth-26)

Please note that at this time CTE programming is scheduled to return to in-person learning beginning December 9.

Food service pick-up and delivery service is available to all ISD families.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule.  Food service pick-up is on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm at Hillsdale High School.

Thank you for your continued support.  By working together, we will get through these challenging times.  As you know, the well-being of our students, staff, and families is our number one priority.

 Sincerely, Troy Reehl
