ISD Classrooms Return to In-Person Learning on 1.18.2021

ALL ISD CLASSROOMS & EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS WILL BE

CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY THROUGH JANUARY 15, 2020

January 7, 2021

Dear Families and Community,

Hello.  As of recent, the number of students and staff absent due to the virus or quarantine has decreased.  However, to mitigate any lingering effects of holiday gatherings and travel, we have opted to have our classrooms remain on a virtual platform.  As of today, we are scheduling classes to resume to in-person learning on Monday, January 18, 2021.

The following programs are all virtual:

K-3 ASD Classroom at Hillsdale Preparatory School

K-12 EI Program at Waldron Area Schools

K-12 MoCI Program (K-8 at Hillsdale Preparatory and 9-12 at Hillsdale Community)

Greenfield School, Young Adult Program and Severely Multiply Impaired Classroom

Early Childhood Home Based Services

The following services are still being provided in-person:

ISD education services provided to any local school that is operating in-person (any district that is operating on a virtual model is receiving these services virtually)

Drop-in Service (Multiple Locations Available) (Birth-26)

Mobile Therapy Bus (Birth-26)

Please note that CTE learning returned to in-person learning on Monday, January 4.  Food service pick-up and delivery service is available to all ISD families.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule.  Food service pick-up is on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Hillsdale High School.  Should you have questions, please contact Kara Carwell at 616.634.1267.

Sincerely, Troy Reehl
